Attending the program were representatives of the Board of Research and Development of Petrolimex; Chairman of Singapore Petroleum Company (Petrolimex Singapore) Bui Ngoc Thach Anh; Chairman and Director of Lai Chau Ngo Quang Vinh Petroleum Company and Petrolimex Singapore; leaders of the Women’s Union of Lai Chau Province; Than Uyen District People’s Committee and representatives of the Department of Tourism of Thuong.
The program of awarding 700 water filters to the people of Than Uyen district continues the goal of supporting people to access safe drinking water, protecting health and preventing diseases. This is a practical activity to celebrate the milestone especially the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Petroleum Corporation (1956-2026); contributing to the creation of carbon credits, in response to the Group’s Carbon Neutral Action Program, towards the net zero goal by 2050.
Representatives of the Group spoke at the program, Petrolimex President Singapore Bui Ngoc Thach Anh said: “Responding to the Carbon Neutral Action Program is being implemented by the Group according to the goal of net zero by 2050, today’s event not only carries the social responsibility of the business but also marks an important milestone to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Petroleum Group in 2026. Participating in this activity, Petrolimex Lai Chau, Petrolimex Singapore wishes to help people access environmentally friendly clean water, contribute to improving the health and life of the people as well as helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions for a beautiful green environment.
