The company is led by CEO Trần Văn Viễn, a co-founder of Base.vn, with over 10 years of experience in digital transformation.
With the $1 million funding, Filum AI aims to accelerate the development of advanced AI products, particularly AI Agents, which help businesses optimize costs, enhance customer experience quality, and improve operational efficiency. “This will be a platform that creates a difference and helps businesses not only overcome challenges but also establish long-term competitive advantages,” Mr. Viễn emphasized.
According to a representative from VinVentures, Filum AI is one of the few startups with strong technological capabilities, a clear strategic vision, and the ability to create practical value for businesses. The new capital will help Filum AI expand its R&D team, accelerate product development, and expand its market into Southeast Asia.
“In the context of AI becoming an inevitable trend, we believe this deal is not only a successful step that brings financial investment opportunities to Filum AI but also opens up a new potential direction for many other Vietnamese startups to get closer to the goal of becoming the leading AI center in the region,” shared CEO Trần Văn Viễn.
The successful raising of $1 million by Filum AI during the so-called “funding winter,” which many technology investors regard as a demonstration of the power of combining international technology with local market understanding, highlights the potential of this startup as well as the expectations of investors.
