Agridential is a pioneering blockchain-based platform developed by Vietnam Blockchain Corporation (VBC) to enhance traceability and production management in the agricultural sector. By integrating blockchain technology, Agridential ensures transparency and reliability throughout the agricultural value chain, empowering farmers, cooperatives, and consumers with accurate product information.
The core innovation of Agridential lies in its application of blockchain technology to trace agricultural products from production to consumption. This system records immutable data at each stage of the supply chain, allowing stakeholders to verify product authenticity, monitor quality, and ensure compliance with safety standards. For instance, Agridential has been successfully implemented to trace mangoes in Vietnam’s Dong Thap province, meeting both VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards, thereby facilitating exports to demanding markets like the United States.
Agridential’s innovative approach has garnered significant recognition. The platform was honored as one of the Top 10 Innovative Startups at the third Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Awards, reflecting its impact on the agricultural sector. Additionally, Agridential was among the top 10 startups at TECHFEST Vietnam’s National Innovation Technopreneur Contest 2019.
