Top 10 TECHFEST Vietnam’s National Innovation Technopreneur Contest 2017 organised by National Startup Support Center of Vietnam (NSSC).
With the desire to combine local medicinal herbs and traditional remedies with advanced technology to create 100% herbal products that treat diseases and improve public health, professors, doctors, and experts in biotechnology, food science, and chemistry at Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry have collaborated to research and develop Anti-HP Pro.
This product supports the treatment of gastric ulcers, particularly in eradicating Helicobacter pylori (HP)—the primary cause of stomach diseases. It is extracted from Bodhi leaf extract, which possesses strong antibacterial properties, promotes wound healing, and effectively soothes ulcers.
The dedication and efforts of the research team helped Anti-HP Pro rank among the Top 10 Techfest 2017. The product has been granted an exclusive patent and was featured in Vietnam’s Golden Book of Innovation in 2019. Additionally, the startup project received funding from the Newton Fund of the Royal Academy of Engineering (UK) to commercialize the research results in the UK.
