E-Safiri is a startup based in Kenya with the goal of promoting sustainable transportation through alternative fuel solutions and electric vehicles. The network of charging stations and battery swapping points is a key component of E-Safiri’s strategy. With the aim of expanding this network nationwide, the startup not only provides charging stations for electric vehicles but also allows users to swap batteries, enabling them to continue their journey without worrying about long charging times. Each charging station is designed to optimize the use of renewable energy and electricity from the grid, thus reducing carbon emissions and saving operational costs.
In addition to developing infrastructure, E-Safiri has also developed a mobile application that allows users to easily find charging stations, make reservations, and manage their battery charging. This increases convenience for users and encourages the adoption of electric transportation within the community.

At the P4G Vietnam 2025 Summit, the company had the opportunity to showcase its sustainable electric transportation solutions, attracting attention from international organizations and regional investors. With support from the National Startup Support Center (NSSC), E-Safiri connected with strategic partners, expanded its cooperation network, and developed innovative initiatives in the electric transportation sector.
With a clear strategy and objectives, E-Safiri is opening up significant opportunities for the development of the electric transportation sector in Kenya and other countries in the region. This is an important step toward promoting the transition to sustainable transportation, reducing pollution, and creating an eco-friendly transportation ecosystem that is scalable and has a lasting impact.
