TOP 10 TECHFEST Vietnam’s National Innovation Technopreneur Contest 2023 organised by National Startup Support Center of Vietnam (NSSC) and Startup Vietnam Foundation (SVF)
Rare Cooling is an innovative startup specializing in advanced cooling solutions for outdoor surfaces. Their flagship product, RARE paint, is a high-tech coating designed to reflect sunlight and heat, thereby reducing indoor temperatures and extending the lifespan of exterior materials.
The RARE paint operates by enhancing the cooling capacity of surfaces exposed to direct sunlight. In practical applications, it has demonstrated the ability to maintain indoor temperatures at levels comparable to shaded outdoor air, effectively mitigating the heat absorbed by buildings. This not only contributes to more comfortable indoor environments but also reduces the reliance on air conditioning systems, leading to energy savings.
In recognition of its groundbreaking technology, Rare Cooling’s RARE paint project secured first prize at the Startup and Innovation Contest during Techfest Hanoi 2023. The product has garnered interest for its potential to become widely adopted, particularly in urban areas where high daytime temperatures are prevalent. Additionally, Rare Cooling was honored as one of the top 10 teams at TECHFEST Vietnam’s National Technopreneur Contest 2023.
