ReFeed Inc is a pioneering startup in the collection and reuse of used cooking oil (UCO), aiming to reduce environmental pollution and contribute to the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF)—a globally prioritized area in the transition toward clean energy.
Starting from a simple yet highly practical idea, ReFeed has developed an easy-to-deploy UCO collection model tailored to the conditions of urban Vietnam. By installing smart collection machines at high-waste-generation sites such as schools and residential areas, and integrating a user-friendly mobile app, ReFeed enables citizens to easily participate in the collection and sorting of used cooking oil. The transparent and convenient collection mechanism—trackable via the app—is a key strength that helps foster environmental awareness and proactive community engagement.
Beyond its environmental benefits, such as reducing water pollution and urban waste, ReFeed also creates job opportunities for vulnerable groups, including women, low-income individuals, and people with disabilities, through positions in collection, operations, and technical support.
This initiative not only supports Vietnam’s green energy transition, but also serves as a practical model for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly those related to the environment, clean energy, sustainable consumption and production, and social equity.
At the P4G Summit Vietnam 2025, with the support of the National Startup Support Center (NSSC), ReFeed presented its UCO collection model in the dedicated startup exhibition area. The model attracted significant attention from international development organizations and investors due to its potential to contribute to sustainable aviation fuel production and the broader green energy transition.
With a flexible design and strong scalability, ReFeed is actively expanding its partnerships with both domestic and international stakeholders to position UCO solutions as an integral part of the future green fuel supply chain.
