Champion TECHFEST Vietnam’s National Innovation Technopreneur Contest 2022 organised by National Startup Support Center of VietNam (NSSC) and Startup Vietnam Foundation (SVF).
Launched amid the Covid-19 pandemic, So Ban Hang was created to help small business owners sustain their operations during social distancing. The platform provides comprehensive online sales and management solutions, enabling entrepreneurs to boost their business and increase revenue, all through a single mobile app.
So Ban Hang offers professional websites, multi-channel sales integration, and seamless customer management within one interface. Additionally, the platform hosts training sessions with e-commerce experts, equipping users with effective marketing strategies and business insights.
While global sales management software like Pipedrive, Freshsales, and Groove cater to large enterprises, they are often costly and complex, making them less accessible for Vietnam’s market, where small businesses and individual merchants dominate.
So Ban Hang stands out as a Vietnamese-native solution with a simple, intuitive interface, allowing local merchants to quickly adopt smart technology. The app integrates with major e-commerce platforms such as Facebook, Zalo, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop, enabling users to manage orders and customer interactions across multiple channels from one centralized dashboard. The platform offers a free version with essential features and an affordable PRO plan.
In August 2021, So Ban Hang raised $1.5 million from FEBE Ventures, Class 5, and other investors. By early 2022, it secured an additional $2.5 million, bringing its total funding to $4 million within eight months. Investors include FEBE Ventures, Class 5, AlleyCorp, and Trihill Capital. The startup also gained recognition on Shark Tank Vietnam Season 6, securing a $200,000 convertible loan investment from Shark Tue Lâm and Shark Erik.
Crowned Techfest Vietnam 2022 Champion, So Ban Hang now serves over 500,000 business owners nationwide, with 30,000 new users joining in 2024. The platform has also forged strategic partnerships with major corporations, including BIDV for fast and secure payments and VNPT for integrated e-invoicing solutions, ensuring greater convenience and reliability for businesses.
