Urban Farmers Pro is a pioneering startup in the field of urban agriculture, offering green cultivation solutions in cities with limited arable land through the VIOS FARMS model—hydroponic farms adapted from 40-foot refrigerated containers. The project was developed with the goal of simultaneously addressing challenges related to food security, the environment, and urban health.
Each VIOS FARMS unit is capable of growing clean vegetables right in the heart of the city, with productivity up to 220 times higher than traditional farming, saving up to 95% of water, and ensuring a stable year-round yield. Beyond providing urban residents with access to fresh produce, the model also creates jobs, promotes green lifestyles, and raises community awareness about sustainable consumption.
Thanks to its flexible design and scalability across various urban settings, Urban Farmers Pro can deploy this model not only in Vietnam but also in international markets. VIOS FARMS is recognized as a modern and efficient agricultural solution with strong potential to contribute to the future of urban food systems amid rapid climate change and urbanization.
At the P4G Summit Vietnam 2025, with the support of the National Startup Support Center (NSSC), the company had the opportunity to showcase the VIOS FARMS model in the dedicated startup exhibition area. The initiative attracted significant interest from international organizations, helped expand investment connections, and reinforced the model’s potential for scaling sustainable urban agriculture.
