Viot is an energy technology startup based in Vietnam, aiming to optimize energy consumption in businesses by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). With a mission to develop IoT-based solutions for smart cities and efficient energy management, Viot has built an ecosystem of various products, most notably the VIoT Energy Efficiency Platform (VEEP).
VEEP operates under the “Energy-as-a-Service” (EaaS) model, allowing businesses to implement energy-saving solutions without upfront investment. By incorporating AIoT technology, VEEP digitizes energy management systems, optimizes operations, and helps reduce electricity consumption by up to 30%, making it especially suitable for the more than 50,000 aging commercial buildings across Vietnam.
Viot not only provides software but also integrates hardware, offers quality assurance, and delivers full maintenance throughout the service lifecycle—enabling customers to access a comprehensive and effective energy-saving solution.
The company secured a USD 800,000 investment from Clime Capital to expand the VEEP model in Vietnam and target other Asian markets. Viot also aims to help reduce 10 million tons of global CO₂ emissions by 2030—an ambitious goal that reflects its strong commitment to sustainable development.
At the P4G Vietnam Summit 2025, Viot received support from the National Startup Support Center (NSSC) to present the VEEP solution in the startup exhibition area. This activity not only enabled the company to promote its smart energy-saving model but also created opportunities to connect with international organizations, investors, and potential partners interested in sustainable energy transition.
To date, Viot has successfully deployed VEEP in various commercial buildings and industrial zones across Vietnam, contributing to a shift in how local businesses approach energy efficiency. With a scalable model, a spirit of innovation, and a sustainable development strategy, Viot is positioning itself as a pioneering tech startup in the field of clean and efficient energy.
