According to Mr. Tuấn, business ethics is not just about avoiding violations, but about being transparent and honest with customers — from product information, pricing, return policies to service quality. Once trust is lost, even the most promising brand can collapse.
Alongside ethics is the need for legal compliance, a foundational factor in building a fair and transparent e-commerce environment. It is especially important to pay attention to regulations on personal data protection, intellectual property, online advertising, and fair competition — matters that are often underestimated but play a decisive role in maintaining brand reputation and long-term growth potential.
Acts such as selling counterfeit goods, online fraud, or unfair competition may yield short-term benefits but will seriously harm the market and the country’s image.
