Founded in 2021 in Singapore, the startup quickly expanded its operations to Vietnam, focusing on removing financial barriers and upfront investment costs in solar adoption.
Stride offers a flexible financing platform with deferred payment plans, complemented by free system insurance and quality inspections. By partnering with reputable local installers, the company ensures high service quality and operational safety. This model enables easier access to renewable energy technologies and supports the widespread adoption of solar power in both residential and commercial sectors.
In May 2023, Stride secured early-stage investment from Clime Capital through its SEACEF I fund and from Touchstone Partners. By 2024, the company had further raised debt financing from Trine – a Sweden-based investment platform that supports solar energy businesses in emerging markets.
At the P4G Vietnam Summit 2025, Stride received support from the National Startup Support Center (NSSC) to showcase its pay-as-you-go solar model for households and small businesses. Through a dedicated startup exhibition space, the company not only introduced its flexible financing approach paired with clean energy technology, but also connected with international organizations focused on sustainable energy transitions. The event created valuable opportunities for investment and strategic partnerships, helping to scale the practical application of solar power in daily life.
